Brussels , 8 November – RIA “Novosti”. EU and CIS countries must move towards closer integration of financial markets, according to the deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Belgium Mr Didier Reynders.

Mr Reyndres who spoke at the opening of an international conference “EU and CIS Financial Markets: Integration and Investment Opportunities” in Brussels on Monday, pointed out that “the standards of integration should be more or less the same for everyone”.

He supported the EU – CIS exchange of experience on existing practices between various regulatory bodies, associations, banks and insurance companies.

The Minister also advocated the need for further development of trade between EU and CIS.
